Ay yo finally,

So I've done a lot since I last posted here,
I've attended like...3 cons and cosplayed to almost all of them! They were:

Supanova Gold Coast 2013: don't remember if I cosplayed to that
Supanova Brisbane 2013: I cosplayed Sailor Makoto from Free!, Blue Rose genderbend from Tiger and Bunny, Marshall Lee from Adventure Time
Supanova Gold Coast 2014: Danny Phantom, Great Saiyaman from DBZ and Fukawa from Dangan Ronpa for a tiny bit of the day

I've decided to skip out on ComicCon because I have a lot of TAFE work to do and I've done a silly thing and left it all to the last moment :(

But once I get back into the swing of things, I'm going to start making proper cosplays..with armor and all that flashy stuff

My new years resolution is to get a new job, bulk up a bit (no more string bean Danny) and make some kick ass cosplays

Hope you all have a great day! (to all those who are reading this)

Well..the year is nearly up..I will soon (hopefully) have a Diploma in Animation and I look forward to beginning my Bachelor course.
I'd like to think I've progressed art wise..this year is the first year I've used Photoshop for art (hides and shields self)..So I think I am doing okay?

Anyway..been focussing on environmental art a lot..so been looking at a lot of concept art and watching/playing a lot of games with inspiring environments (Tekken, Assassins Creed etc).

I've also been doing a lot of 3D modelling! Which is fun too :D

Hello, it is a lovely Saturday night as I sit here in my lounge room as the rain pours outside..
I have officially reached my half way mark of the academic year for my Animation course.

I am just writing this journal to document what I have been working on lately (artistic wise). So today I went to a book store in the city and looked in the art section, I saw many cool tutorial books that sparked my interest. Some of the books that caught my interest were an erotic fantasy drawing book (sexy fantasy characters and whatnot) and a dragon tutorial book. I have always been interested in drawing dragons, but since I cannot afford ANYTHING at the moment, I looked up a dragon drawing tutorial on dA.

I have started to draw a base of a dragon, it is turning out okay so far..I do not expect anything too fantastic, as I am completely new to the whole dragon drawing scene. Although I did draw Alduin a few months back (still haven't finished it yet might I add).

Other than dragons, I have been doing a little bit of 3D modelling, for my assessments. I should start to balance out my 3D and 2D work, as I would like to get more ahead on 3D modelling.

Anyway, back to drawing my dragon.
